Project description

Firstly, let’s introduce the lunar environment and resources: lunar minerals. The lunar surface is covered with weathered layers, meteorite debris layers, and some boulders with a diameter of several meters. The formation of the Moon Sea was caused by a large amount of basaltic flows filling ancient craters and forming a vast plain of shallow shoals through the action of solar winds. The lunar mineral resources mainly consist of elements such as iron, titanium, and silicon in lunar rocks, as well as water ice at the helium three and two poles on the lunar surface.

Secondly, let me introduce our campsite: the location of the campsite is the Drupe Hansen Crater in the South Pole of the Moon. Its advantages include large area, flatness, abundant water ice, and abundant sunlight. The main characteristics include reasonable spatial distribution, aesthetics, perfect embodiment of culture and technology, convenient transportation, and various blocks hanging on the dome. The functional area includes: 1. Living area: including bedroom, kitchen, and medical area. 2. Energy zone: Helium fusion, with approximately 1 million tons of helium on the moon. Helium 3 is the raw material for nuclear fusion. 3. Factory area: Collect ore and extract metals, produce oxygen and water. 4. Ecological zone (artificial biosphere), producing delicious vegetables, fruits, and even meat. 5. Experimental area, where scientific research experiments can be conducted. 6. Lunar rovers and robots, transporting materials and collecting materials.

Finally, the ways to obtain essential items for daily life are as follows: 1. Water acquisition and recycling, source one: the water resources of the moon itself. Source 2: Water resources from small stars near the moon can be obtained by small spacecraft. Source 3: There is a large amount of helium-3 on the moon, which is the raw material for nuclear fusion. The fusion reaction formula 32He+32He → 211H+42He produces a large amount of hydrogen. There are also many minerals on the moon, such as aluminum oxide and iron oxide, which can be reduced by hydrogen to obtain water and metals. 2. Energy source: Helium fusion, with approximately 1 million tons of helium-3 on the moon, which is the raw material for nuclear fusion. 3. Oxygen source: 1. Obtained by electrolysis of water. 2. Plant provision in ecological areas. 4. Source of metal materials: Hydrogen produced by fusion is used to reduce ores. 5. Anti meteorite and radiation: The campsite adopts a layer of radiation resistant materials, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polytetrafluoroethylene, to reduce the impact of radiation. 6. Food acquisition and production: Vegetables, fruits, and animals in ecological areas (refer to Biosphere Experiment 2).
