Project description

Our campsite’s main central area includes research area, planting area, living area, and signal tower; In order to have a more humanistic atmosphere, we also built an entertainment area; In terms of energy collection and treatment, we have nuclear power plants, waste disposal areas, ice cutters, and Mars rovers; Finally, there are rockets and rocket launchers.
Innovation point: Due to the large temperature difference between day and night on Mars, our team came up with the idea of using base materials similar to butterfly wing scales for temperature control; Considering the rampant dust storms on Mars, we use suspended jet propulsion without wheels to resist terrain obstacles for groundwater extraction; Due to resource scarcity, we use solar panels to collect the received solar energy for plant survival, provide food and oxygen for researchers, and control the temperature; In order for astronauts to reuse limited energy, we have built energy recovery stations and nuclear power plants; In order to deal with the radiation hazards on Mars, we have designed a novel “anti G suit” using special materials based on the principle of giraffe skin to resist radiation. We will use advanced plasma shields around the building to protect astronauts and spacecraft from cosmic rays and other radiation injuries; Due to the inconvenience of transportation at the base, we have built horizontal elevators to improve efficiency.
