Project description

Lunar Camp third edition material works description: Our planet of choice is the Moon, and the specific address is Shackleton Crater, located at the South Pole of the moon. Because it has abundant solar energy resources and ice that can be used to generate water resources, and is located at the South Pole of the moon, it has greater scientific research significance, so our camp on the moon is mainly used for the survival of many people, as well as the collection and research of lunar resources. Our camp as a whole is Chinese style, the main body is the residential area, using the structure of heavy eaves pavilion in the Chinese courtyard, its function is to expand the weight of the roof and the house, make the main building more stable, but also can effectively resist the impact of the moon wind, so as to make the living environment more safe. The science and technology zone adopts the Hakka tulu building style, which has the advantage of good firmness — its cylindrical structure can transfer all kinds of loads very evenly. At the same time, the bottom of the external wall is the thickest, and it becomes thinner and slightly inward, forming a better prestressed centripetal state. In the case of general earthquake action or uneven subsidence of the foundation, the whole building will not cause destructive deformation. It also has the function of preventing lunar wind and maintaining indoor temperature, thus better protecting precision instruments. The planting area adopts the shape of Siheyuan, and the center of the courtyard has good lighting, which can make the plants get good sunlight and facilitate the growth of crops. The outer wall of the camp is shaped like the Great Wall, with a glass dome surrounding the entire camp to protect it from wind and sand. The main innovations of our camp are: (1) Using the unique advantages of Chinese architecture to adapt to the lunar surface environment. (2) Integrate science and technology into the building structure and give play to its scientific research and exploration capabilities. (3) The use of maglev train, so that the transportation capacity is enhanced, while the connection capacity of each part is strengthened. (4) Through the extraction of groundwater and purification, the formation of internal rivers, to solve the water problems in various districts. (5) The building is round outside and square inside, near the mountains and by the water, which represents peace, wealth and other auspicious meanings in Chinese feng shui. At present, the modeling of the camp has been 100% completed, the rendering has been 90% completed, and the rendering and details have been improved after that.
