Project description

We made our lunar colony underground due to the high radiation and heat on the surface of the soil. Another reason we made our base underground is that astronauts need to be protected from meteors moving at high speeds that can injure them. Our solar panels help us acquire and store electrical energy which we later use. Additionally, we receive electricity through some nuclear reactors located at our base. Nuclear energy can power the colony for more than 6 months, during which time the astronauts will stay at the colony. Additionally, at the poles, in the lunar subsurface, specifically, there is water in solid form which we extract to obtain water in liquid form for the astronauts to consume. Furthermore, astronauts will be fed with vegetables and fruits from the greenhouse located at our base. Additionally, there will be pre-packaged and canned foods available. Moreover, at the base, there are all the rooms that can serve all the functions that astronauts can perform on the Moon. Furthermore, on the Moon, because there is reduced gravity, people can lose a percentage of their muscle mass.
