The name for the moon camp is Forever Lasting Station since we want our camp to sustain the astronauts from now and in the future. The goal of our camp is to enable astronauts to survive on the moon for more than 2 months by conducting experiments to investigate how to alter human DNA to be more resilient to the moon’s environment. We will use Cas9 which acts like a pair of scissors that cuts the DNA making it able to alter by adding,removing specific DNA. The experiments will involve using CRISPR to alter DNA on the moon. We will give both the supplies and needs that the two astronauts will need in their camp. The astronauts will be provided with protection,oxygen,food, water, and energy.
