Our camp, Galileo Space Observatory, was named after how Galileo first discovered that the Sun was the center of the universe instead of our home, Earth. The focus of our camp is to travel to the far side of the moon so we can further improve our knowledge and understanding of the universe, hence the word observatory included in our name. We will achieve this by using many telescopes to view activity in space and hopefully find and learn new things. We will need a shelter and it will be similar to the NASA Inflatable Moon Habitat project. Our camp design will enable meeting our camp’s goals because we will find more interesting facts about space and our universe.
