Project description
Team name: Winners never quit
The pace of exploration has never stopped. Hand in hand, we are marching towards the journey of the vast starry sea, and the lunar camp is the bright pearl in this magnificent journey.
Inspired by the harmonious form of sphere and circle, the design of the camp buildings retains the original beauty of roundness while exhibiting unique styling charm through clever transformations. The buildings are closely connected through passages, forming an intricate network structure. The lunar camp is situated in Sverdrup-Hanssen crater in the south pole of the moon, where the flat and vast terrain provides unique advantages for the landing of spacecraft and the construction of the base. Rich water and ice resources are available here, providing ample water for our daily lives. Scientific research is the core mission of our lunar camp. We continuously explore the unknown mysteries in areas such as artificial gravity fields, ultra-cold atoms, microbial research, and robotic mining. However, safety protection is crucial for living on the moon. We use polymers and lunar soil materials as the external materials of the camp, and have installed radar and camp protectors to provide solid safeguards for the safety of the camp. Communication with Earth is a vital support for our lives on the moon. Through wireless optical relay stations, information is transmitted at the speed of light, greatly improving the efficiency of information dissemination. In terms of material transportation, we have adopted advanced electromagnetic rail launch vehicles, significantly reducing energy consumption. We also attach great importance to the livability of the camp in daily life. Facilities such as gyms, entertainment rooms, study rooms, tea rooms, living rooms, and kitchens are available. Entertainment facilities like mahjong tables and virtual reality allow everyone to enjoy relaxing and pleasant moments after tense work. The installation of fitness equipment like exercise bicycles enables us to maintain a healthy body on the moon. We also pay attention to the design of the internal space of the camp. The main color scheme adopts a blue and white combination, creating a comfortable and peaceful visual experience. The color scheme of the living area is more diverse to prevent visual fatigue. In terms of food supply, we use Chlorella as raw materials and create delicious food through 3D printing technology. For energy, we adopt buoyancy energy storage technology to store electric energy, generating electricity through pressure, providing a steady stream of power for the normal operation of the camp. We also utilize microwave radiation technology to extract water resources from the lunar regolith, and have built lunar rovers for transportation, providing sufficient water for the daily lives and scientific research activities of the camp. Our lunar camp is a comprehensive base integrating scientific research, living, and entertainment. Here, we will continue to explore unknown areas and contribute to human life and development on the moon.
