This is our idea of what a base on Jupiter’s moon, Europa should look like. Through the utilisation of tidal waves, next to the dam which when the tidal waves move across moves the motor and conducts electricity. The sewage treatment plant which filters the waste twice and then uses UV light to disinfect the germs.The urinary processor assembly purifies human waste and the condensation of water vapor. after the distillation of urine using vacuum distillation, the water recovery system then ensures the quality of water, and its transferred to the portable water system for the crew to drink. Oxygen can be created using electrolysis and splits water into hydrogen which is disposed of and oxygen for breathing. The kitchen uses the harvests of the greenhouse which uses an aquaponics system that waters the plants and provides enough sodium for the soil to grow the plants, and improves the air quality since air is ventilated throughout the whole base. The gym has a treadmill and the ARED machine utilizes two canisters that create small vacuums astronauts can pull against the long bar to improve the physical health of the crew and prevent osteoporosis. And for transportation, a railway is built for the train to carry crew members when land exploration or recovery of solar panels are needed, and the submarine is used to travel in the water and used when fixing any damages the dam has. This base provides the facilities and satisfies the needs of the crew and is self-sufficient by nature through its own oxygen, food and electricity production.
