Project description

Here is the MOON (Mike Oscar Oscar November) base.

On our base we have several things like a launchpad where rockets with supplies can arrive and leave when they please, we also have an air-lock system to prevent any accidents inside the base. We have a common room that connects everything including two big buildings in which 30-50 residents can live comfortably and 3 extra pods for families of up to 7 members.

For the energy we reached for a sustainable solution including solar panels and a fusion reactor which can provide mass amounts of energy. We have a communication system with big antennas to always have contact with earth.

Lucky for us the moon is always facing the earth so the antennas wouldn’t need to move their direction. Our team decided to add missiles to prevent any accidents concerning asteroids. If one approaches, we launch a missile to blow it up before it makes contact. We also included a storage space to keep all our supplies safe, it also works as an indoor miniature garden which is sustained with natural water that is taken from the melted ice which is obtained from the polar regions of the moon.
