Project description

This base is ideal for living on mars. Set for 200 people, and an entire city waiting to be explored, this will be your dream life on an extraterrestrial planet!

We made it together in a team of 6. Our water filtration system works by: the dirty water comes from a pipe coming from the rocket into a tank,in the tank the water is cleansed until it is clean enough to drink and cook with. From there it goes to a tank where a small amount of water goes to the crops and the rest goes to cook with and drink in the rocket.🚀

At our base, we have many different rooms to help our wellbeing. We have all the essentials. This includes fuel stations, water converting stations, mining stations and electricity stations. The base has solar panels and a nuclear reactor. After a hard day, we can go to the entertainment room, where you can play musical instruments, and do whatever you want before going to bed. In the morning, when you have had a good night’s rest, you can get ready in our dressing room and go downOur amazing camp is set for anyone who wants to

Mechanics:

to the food room. In the dressing room, we have quality space suits, for when we go out for a hard day after  we can go to bed and have a good night’s rest.

The mechanics room has many high tech machinery. You can make anything there like ships and other things. There are 3D printers that can print whole domes with the martian soil.

Our amazing build is packed with essential things.

Such as food, water and oxygen used by human beings and is essential for this mission.

Kitchen and Dining Area:

The kitchen is packed with high quality foods so the astronauts never go hungry and they are provided with all the nutrients they need. The basic food groups are provided for within the base as the astronauts can grow their own fresh produce. To make the kitchen a fun place to be it is also brightly decorated. There is a cosy seating area for all too.

Music and Entertainment:

The music room is equipped with a number of string and wind instruments including a piano, harp and guitar. After a long day exploring the harsh conditions of Mars, this is ideal for while. This is also a place to practise your skills of music. It also has a basketball net.
