We designed our Moon Shelter for the first explorers to live in. We used materials which were lightweight and easy to transport into space. Our astronauts will travel to the moon in a reusable rocket. We designed the shelter to have a protective shield to combat any meteors. We think the astronauts will use the rocket’s engines to melt ice inside craters to produce water – which can be recycled and used in the shelter and to water crops. There will be an area for animals and the rocket will bring one male and one female of each species on every journey from Earth.
