The comfort of astronauts was very important at our lunar base. We aimed for pleasant living conditions, so we ensured that the facilities were selected meticulously. Our nature-inspired exterior design mimics the Benzene molecule due to its robust hexagonal symmetry, ensuring structural integrity and material distribution balance.
The main building has basic amenities, medical facilities, mobile garages and hydroponic farming. The ground floor contains an infirmary, hydroponic farming room, base control center and astronaut clothing department. The first floor houses a medical warehouse and mobile garages. While the gym, kitchen, locker room and entertainment/communication room are located on the second floor, the planetarium adorns the top floor.
Additional buildings connected to the main structure host laboratories for various scientific research and emergency medical services. With five astronauts, our base seeks to uncover the mysteries of the moon through selected experiments. It is aimed to contribute to the astronauts’ scientific studies with 3 types of rovers and the lunar ice extraction device inspired by the bacteriophage. In addition, it is aimed to maximize the efficiency of the sun with solar panels inspired by sunflowers. In this design, solar panels are enabled to follow the sun’s rays, just like a sunflower.
