A mining colony on Mercury transports all minerals in tunnels for fear of vehicles bouncing too high in low gravity. Huge doses of UV radiation from the sun and active particles are lethal to organisms, so all mine operations take place under a protective dome. The living quarters are invisible because they are beneath the surface of the planet. We see a spaceport ready to receive a cargo rocket.
