Na szklarni są panele słoneczne, które dostarczają energii potrzebnej do jej ogrzania, a także do oświetlenia. Światło jest niezbędne do wzrostu roślin. Jest również łazik. Przy bazie znajdują się także inne panele słoneczne, dzięki którym powstała energia, za pomocą kabla jest przekazywana do pozostałej części bazy.
