Moon Camp Pioneers Gallery 2019-2020

In Moon Camp Pioneers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Fusion 360. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Describe your Moon Camp project. We want to study on the Moon: rocks, minerals, new chemicals, geology. It will be a research station. Where do you want to build your Moon Camp? Close to the Lunar Poles. The reason why we chose it, is that it is in a lot of sunlight and the water sources. How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Describe the techniques and materials you would use. We build the shelter mostly underground. Underground because of sun’s radiation and the sand and meteorites from the moon. Local Moon resources I will use: Water ice Regolith (Lunar soil) Sunlight Other
Water	Food	Electricity	Air
The water source will come from ice.	The food source will be the garden.	As power source will be solar power from the top of the base.	From the garden.(at least a part of it)
How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use? [54]
The environment on the Moon is very dangerous for the astronauts. Explain how your Moon Camp will protect them. Most of the station is underground
Describe a day on the Moon for your Moon Camp astronaut crew. Take breakfast. Work in their sectors / fields. Some of them make outdoors for study / research. Share their experience by high advanced communications infrastructure on the camp. Free time is for relax, walks, sports (the camp is enough large: radius of aprox of 47 meters and height of 25 meters). Sure, they can communicate with the base (that means the Earth) anytime, anywhere from their locations.
