Moon Camp@Klimatias Kindergarten by Little Creative Scientists

KINDERGARTEN OF KLIMATIAS  IOANNINA-IPEIROS    Greece 6 years old and younger   6 / 2 Greek

Translation:
The Little Creative Scientists of the Klimatia Kindergarten of Ioannina are inspired by the experiences of their dear friend, Paxi and approach the science of space in a playful way.

During the school’s participation in the Moon Camp action, the teacher, the parents and the students attend modern and asynchronous remote related trainings, related to the use of the 3D design tool Tinkercad, which are organized by the ESERO Office in Greece, in collaboration with the ST3dM research group of the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

In this context, after a kindergarten classroom is created in Tinkercad, students with the support of their parents enter the online classroom with their personal codes and create 3D space stations for the Moon. In the final stage, the personal creations intertwine and co-create the team school space station.

It is worth noting that the students have previously been familiarized with group three-dimensional constructions, which facilitate the understanding of the activities.

Οι Μικροί Δημιουργικοί Επιστήμονες του Νηπιαγωγείου Κληματιάς Ιωαννίνων εμπνέονται από τις εμπειρίες του αγαπημένου τους φίλου, Paxi και προσεγγίζουν με παιγνιώδη τρόπο την επιστήμη του διαστήματος.

Κατά τη διάρκεια συμμετοχής του σχολείου στη δράση Moon Camp, η  εκπαιδευτικός, οι γονείς και οι μαθητές παρακολουθούν σύγχρονες και ασύγχρονες εξ αποστάσεως σχετικές επιμορφώσεις, που αφορούν στην αξιοποίηση του εργαλείου τρισδιάστατης σχεδίασης Tinkercad, οι οποίες διοργανώνονται από το Γραφείο ESERO στην Ελλάδα, σε συνεργασία με την ερευνητική ομάδα ST3dM του Τμήματος Φυσικής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης.

Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, αφού δημιουργείται τάξη του νηπιαγωγείου στο Tinkercad, οι μαθητές με την υποστήριξη των γονέων τους εισάγονται στη διαδικτυακή τάξη με τους προσωπικούς τους κωδικούς και δημιουργούν τρισδιάστατους διαστημικούς σταθμούς για τη Σελήνη. Στο τελικό στάδιο, οι προσωπικές δημιουργίες αλληλοδιαπλέκονται και συνδημιουργούν τον ομαδικό σχολικό διαστημικό σταθμό.

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι έχει προηγηθεί εξοικείωση των μαθητών με δια ζώσης ομαδικές τρισδιάστατες κατασκευές, που διευκολύνουν την κατανόηση των δραστηριοτήτων.
