Project description
Hermes is a lunar rover with many useful features for operating on the Moon. Hermes has solar panels to generate electricity. Hermes has a drill on the front to mine rocks and destroy any objects blocking its path. Hermes is air-tight with an on-board air tank to let the astronauts breathe comfortably. It has a big trailer storage compartment with robotic arms mounted on it to pick up desired objects such as Moon rocks. Hermes’s wheels with deep treads can drive over the rough terrain of the lunar surface. These are many key features of Lunar Rover Hermes.
