Project description

As part of our option, we took part in the “Moon camp challenge” competition organized by Esa. Our teacher Ms. Hardas accompanied us all throughout the project.

we all first watched a video regarding the moon and mars explained by researchers and scientists.

We continued with the assembly of parts to form a robot and then program it.

Subsequently, we thought about creating a lunar base as a group. finally we were divided into 2 groups A and B.

We made a sketch of our future moon base, looking for the appropriate place to establish it. Once the pooling has been done, we split into 2 groups of 2 students each to divide the work to be done, that is to say, model the pieces divided between us.

We have chosen a location for our moon base. We imagined parts and their precise locations. we established a scale and start forming parts with the 3D modeling program: Tinkercad.

We changed our 3D designs as our teacher communicated our mistakes to us.

then, after having finished all the modeling, we tackled the electronics by discovering all the parts we will need. We made a list of sensors / actuators that we had available and we started to challenge personal in order to get used to using electronic tools.
