Project description


This lunar vehicle will allow us to have a transport on the moon, having a comfort to transport us from one place to another allowing us to explore, has windows that will help us to avoid the sun’s rays, this vehicle has solar panels that give us the ability to recharge this vehicle without the need for other current, this vehicle has a container with oxygen to keep the astronauts with air, also has a container to store all kinds of things (not very large), also has tires that will help us to go to rocky or difficult to access places. This is an independent robot that is responsible for investigating areas, this will help us to find new resources, minerals, etc., this rover has five cameras, the main camera has a 180 ° view, the second and third camera is the one that allows the robot to have a 360 ° view these three cameras in charge of observing the things around him including new areas, rocky places, craters, etc.. The fourth and fifth cameras (located in the lower part of the rover) are in charge of observing and discovering new minerals in the soil and subsoil.
This rover also has two microphones which allow us to capture sounds heard during the expedition.
It has a robotic arm that has a tool that has two drills, which is responsible for collecting soil samples or minerals or resources that can be found to investigate more about the moon. It has a radioisotope thermoelectric generator battery that allows this vehicle to have a use of six hours in operation, it has six tires which make this rover faster. It has a heat sink so that the vehicle does not overheat and maintains an ambient temperature.
