Project description


This rover is an autonomous robot which will be responsible for investigating the subsoil and soil of the lunar surface to find areas with resources or safe areas for lunar bases, has a camera / sensor at the bottom front this camera / sensor will serve to make a mapping along with its drill subsoil and records your information to store it in its database, It also has a lower rear camera to have a more extensive view, it also has a “Mega Drill” of 5 points which its central mini-drill is retractable, it can be extended and retracted, it helps the camera / sensor of the lower front to map the subway terrain, this rover apart from having its lower cameras has an upper one which gives a view from above to avoid obstacles in the terrain. Thanks to this it can store evidence of minerals/objects, the rover has a front storage near the drill, in addition to the storage it has a robotic hand to collect these minerals or objects, finally the SupplyMine rover has to generate energy has a Multi-Mission Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator which would give about 14 years of useful life, apart from this generator has 2 solar panels which will be stored until the generator has a failure or its useful life ends. Therefore, the SupplyMine rover will be able to continue working for a while longer.
