The idea of our lunar lander is based on the creation of different geometrical bodies.
The base is formed of an octagonal prism and upper body is a rotated hexagonal
prism. The dimensions of our lander are 10.8 meters high and 12.25-13.9 meters
wide. We have designed metal stairs so that the astronaut can go down. The
structure rests on the ground thanks to legs made with tubular profiles that cushion
the landing.
An antenna has been incorporated in the upper part of the cabin to carry out
communications with the ground.
The mainly used material is a 6061 aluminum alloy due to has good mechanical
properties.
To improve energy consumption we have incorporated some solar panels on the
roof.
