The Research base on the Moon
The base is formed in the bottom of a comet’s ice crater. The researchers get water and oxygen from the ice. The domes are protected against heat oscillation and radiation. Under the domes, the astronauts don’t need to wear spacesuits. On the lower level of the large dome, there are the living, dining, and bath blocks. Above it, there is a radar station and a research department.
Here, they study the rocks and analyze the possibility of self-sufficiency.
Power is provided by external solar panels, radars, and instruments are powered by units on the dome.
There is ice under the second dome. There is a low temperature, but the oxygen level is regulated. Under the third dome, crop production experiments are underway.
The manure comes from the organic recycler. It is used in the third dome.
The recycler reprocesses the water for drinking and washing.
If the oxygen generator stops working there will be oxygen for a week. They store it next to the big dome.
The landing strip is for the moon rovers and the space shuttle.
