In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

My moon camp contains a green house,a water recycling system,waste recycling system,3 rovers,3 robots,2 astronauts,3d printer,oxygen tank,solar panels,dish and a rocket.
Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Close to the Lunar Poles

Why did you choose this location?

Because the sun almost always shines there(for the plants) plus there is lunar ice to dig(for water)

How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

I would use a 3d printer instead of brick or any other building material,because using brick would cost you a lot of trips back and forward and also waste your time.While using a 3d printer you wont waste time and it will only take 1 trip, and it is more convenient.

Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
Water
Food
Electricity
Air

I have a rover that drills ice and then my robots will take the ice to the water purifier/recycling system and then put the ice block in it then the water purifier cleans the water crushes the ice and makes it drinkable.

I have 3 green houses to provide food and the robots will help me plant them.

I have solar panels which will provide power and a big battery cell that stores the power.

I have oxygen tanks and plants to provide oxygen.
Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

Our moon camp astronauts wake up at 8,they take 30 min to get ready for the day.After that they will have Breakfast (30 min).Then they will start working for 4 hrs(9am – 1pm).After that they will take a break for lunch (30 min)Then they will get back to work again for another 3 hrs (1:30pm-4:30pm).After that they will take a look at their crops and grow some more(4:40 – 5).Then they will go dig for some ice so they can have some water (5:10 – 5:30).After that their work time is over and they can go rest and get ready for the next day.
