Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
My Moon camp Project is a base that is located near the poles, it has a simulator of the earth’s atmosphere with a gravity suppressor, also inside there are different rooms with a food bunker, crops, beds and different things. of entertainment |

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?
Close to the lunar equator Why did you choose this location?
I selected that place because it was a not so extreme place to create, it is very cold but it helps to keep the temperature of the artificial atmosphere regulated How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?
the materials used for the elaboration are for the artificial atmosphere I will use a thermal shield (titanium alloys) that is adjustable to the temperature according to its environment for the solar panels I would use stainless steel alloys that withstand cold and heat well for houses and different places inside the thermal layer would use Alloy Steel with Magnesium Widely used in the aerospace industry |

Protection
|
a.) it was discovered that at the poles of the moon there is hydrogen that is found in the ice of the moon the idea would be to heat them until they become water also have a reserve of water using the ice fragment |
b.) on the moon to produce serious food by cultivation thanks to the artificial atmosphere we can recreate the temperature and environment so that different foods grow from the lunar soil |
c.) to have energy on the moon it would be by special solar panels to resist extreme cold and heat for that reason it would be created by steel alloys |
a.) to have oxygen on the moon, it would be necessary to extract lunar dust, which is composed of 40% oxygen, it would be to extract and separate the materials from the dust by electrolysis |
e.) To protect the moon camp, satellites are implemented that emit radars that divert the path of meteors and meteorites. |
Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
I wake up inside the headquarters (rooms) and I go to the restaurants they had prepared us meat based on lentils with orange juice then I went to the place of entertainment without any concern thanks to the atmosphere that helps regulate the temperature I sent a message to my parents using the satellite internet and then before it gets dark I went to monitor the solar panels that are located in the lower part of the moon camp next to the food reserve and different types of warning and threat detection systems |
