In Moon Camp Discovery 2019-2020 each team’s mission was to 3D design only one component of a Moon Camp using Tinkercad. Teams could choose to design the:

– Lunar lander

– Astronauts quarters

– Lunar rover

Moon Camp Discovery is a non-competitive mission for beginners. All teams that submited an entry that complied with the guidelines received a participation certificate and their project was shared on the Moon Camp online platform.

Project description

This is a moon base with many facilities covered by a dome made with recycled plastics. Up there is an oxygen tank (white) with solar panels above the tank (dark blue) it has a gym (light blue); a green house (green) to get food and test it to check if they are edible; a house for four people and a pet (purple) and other houses with the flags of Spain and Argentina for 2 people.

There is room for around 16 people and 1 or 2 pets in total. The orange building is a research center with a dome made with the same materials as the other. In front there is a door (transparent) to the exit and entrance of lunar vehicles.
