In Moon Camp Discovery 2020-2021 each team’s mission was to 3D design only one component of a Moon Camp using Tinkercad. Teams could choose to design a:

– Lunar lander

– Moon Base

– Lunar rover

– Rocket

– Lunar Orbital Space Station

Moon Camp Discovery is a non-competitive mission for beginners, open worldwide to students aged up to 19 years old. All teams that submitted an entry that complied with the guidelines received a participation certificate and their project can be seen on the Moon Camp Discovery 2020 – 2021 gallery.

Our project is to create a lunar base on the moon in 3D, at the beginning we had to do some research to know more about the construction of a lunar base and what were the main things to have in a base, then we made two groups the first one had to choose the location of the base and how to have electricity and the second one had to look for with which materials can we create this base how to have air, how to have food and to drink. At the end we all put in common and we found what were the most efficient ways. Each one of us had to do his part of the work, we made different structures, there was a living place (a room, a living room, a kitchen), a water plant and another of oxygen, solar panels, a laboratory, a garage, a well and a control room.

Then we drew a plan in group by placing the different buildings strategically and we dimensioned them. Then we divided each part of the plan for each student so that they could work on their own.

And finally we joined each part of the plan to have just one plan.
