In Moon Camp Discovery 2020-2021 each team’s mission was to 3D design only one component of a Moon Camp using Tinkercad. Teams could choose to design a:

– Lunar lander

– Moon Base

– Lunar rover

– Rocket

– Lunar Orbital Space Station

Moon Camp Discovery is a non-competitive mission for beginners, open worldwide to students aged up to 19 years old. All teams that submitted an entry that complied with the guidelines received a participation certificate and their project can be seen on the Moon Camp Discovery 2020 – 2021 gallery.

Project description


What I’ve done is a spaceship that comes out of the earth and is embedded in the upper pole of the moon. This drawing I’ve done explains best:

As you can see, the spaceship flies to the top pole of the moon. At the top of the ship we can see that it has an antenna (to receive signals), two solar panels (to obtain solar energy), windows (to be able to see if something is coming), and the half circle that is between a solar plate and the antenna is an exhaust hatch (to be able to exit if the main output does not work). At the bottom we can see the two thrusters that eject a blade so that it can be embedded in the moon, and a water tank.
