Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2020-2021
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
Project Description To begin with we created this base for the sake of science and also for the settlement of a Planet we named this base The Nordics to the fact that we will build it in the north of the moon. This project was specially created for ESA’s Mooncamp International Modeling Competition. We created a rather nice base. |

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?
Close to the Lunar Poles Why did you choose this location?
Or we’ll build the base we will build the base in the north because those where there is the most sun on the moon the more in our base this star is important because we use solar energy to create our electricity to make our base work and survive in space, because our base is called the Nordics How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?
The base is constructed from titanium because it is one of the strongest materials to protect against asteroids that will strike the base. Silicon, for the component of solar panels to recover energy. Small space because made of metals. Alters and conveyor belts are made of plastics for lightness and ease of manufacture, transport and recycling. The chairs are also made of plastic. Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
How our Moon camp will be protected. Our titanium walls are going to be super thick and very resistant to anything like asteroid meteorites and particles like that. For very intense temperatures we have great combinations to counter any temperature. |
