Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2020-2021
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
Our moon camp design is a simple well thought of design, it is a good idea to get the best materials for it and also helped that we thought of the risks and hazards so we could prevent the loss of property and lives. The design is structured to help with easy movements and living compatibility. This project helped more than just us but the future of the human race. |

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?
Shackleton crater Why did you choose this location?
Because it would provide more protection on the base and because of its dish like shape would behave like a dish amplifier. How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?
The corridors we use plastic, extra thick plastic, about 2 inches thick. For houses we would use a thick concrete. For the satellite dish we would use metals. Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
|
|||
Water
|
Food
|
Electricity
|
Air
|
There will be 800Litres tank for daily water needs that would help with time an water intake and usage levels. |
This would be a strict diet with meat stored in the cafeteria and vegetables grown in the green house. |
The solar panels are the source of power for every building and piece of equipment |
The green house plants would create air then the corridor and house filters would clean the air to be used again. |
Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
It would be a day of maintenance around the base, very careful examination of the corridors and the satellites, then we would do our basic jobs,. After we would go to the cafeteria to have a meal when we are finished we would join the other members in mapping the rovers course. After mapping we would do simple jobs in the labs, then a nice bit of exercise then continue with any other jobs we may have. |
