Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
In the year 2030 some astronauts were summoned to build a big camp on the moon. When the astronauts arrived on the moon, they started to build, the project was an underground camp, it was made to study the behavior of marine life on lunar soil. After a few months, the camp was ready and the astronauts began their studies. |

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?
Close to the lunar poles Why did you choose this location?
Receiving the sun’s rays to generate electricity How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

Astronauts extract water from the lunar soil with a machine that turns the lunar atmosphere into water droplets through a heating and cooling process. |
Every three months the food will be sent on a food mission until the vegetable grower is fully operational. |
Receiving the sun’s rays to generate electricity |
The air to breathe will be an innovation with the use of sharks installed in an appropriate place where we will study the functioning of their gills in a lunar environment an innovation. They use a machine that takes out chunks of ice found on the moon and melts the ice. Then the water undergoes a cleaning treatment and finally it is ready for consumption. |
I would use cement with plastics from ocean waste, reusing, in a compact way |
Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
Every day astronauts wake up early, after having breakfast they start working on marine life research. Then they go to lunch. Then they go out to take samples of lunar soil for analysis. Finally they will do physical exercises and then go to sleep. |
