– Lunar lander

– Moon Base

– Lunar rover

– Rocket

– Lunar Orbital Space Station

Moon Camp Discovery is a non-competitive mission for beginners, open worldwide to students aged up to 19 years old. All teams that submitted an entry that complied with the guidelines received a participation certificate and their project can be seen on the Moon Camp Discovery 2020 – 2021 gallery.

Project description

This moon base has been named Tranquility Base after the historic Apollo 11 mission. It is located near the lunar south pole, for presence of water.
The lunar base generates power using solar and nuclear energy. Water from craters is harvested and used for use in growing crops, potable water needs and for generation of H2 and O2 by electrolysis. There is rocket station and scientific exploration area (including resource extraction, observatory). The habitat is well suited for lunar conditions and I hope it will provide a template for future lunar settlements.
